Ep. 61: Riding a UFO Through Heaven’s Gate

In September 1975, the community of Waldport, Oregon started noticing mysterious flyers plastered around the town. Starting with a scribbled headline reading “UFOs”, the flyers explained how a man and woman were sent from the level above human, and would return to that level on a space ship in the next few months. Those interested in joining them were encouraged to attend an informational session where they could learn how to transition “from human level to the next level.” So begins the tragic tale of Heaven’s Gate cult.
