In this episode, we're heading back to West Virginia to the murder trial of Zona Heaster Shue, more commonly known as the Greenbrier Ghost. You'll also be treated with sure-fire proof of aliens, ooky spooky dream stories, and Halee's delicious cream cheese brownies. Happy Haunting!

You’ve just gotta listen to get all the deets on this one. Suffice to say there’s proof of life on Mars and it’s really into James Cameron.

Zona Heaster was only 22 years old when she married Trout Shue, much to her mother’s protest.

Zona wed Edward Stribling Shue, aka Trout, in October 1896.

Things get a little fishy when Zona is found dead in their farmhouse on January 22, 1897.

Mary Heaster, Zona’s mother, had suspicions that she wasn’t getting the full story.

She prayed that Zona’s ghost would return to tell her what had happened, and boy did she get her wish!

The tale of the Greenbrier Ghost is still alive and well in West Virginia.

You can visit Zona in the Soule Chapel Methodist Church cemetery.
