Elise was on a work trip last week, so she had to get creative with her treat. Obviously her Airbnb didn’t have an Easy Bake Oven (I know, bummer), so she did the next best thing and used a microwave. It’s basically a super extra charged lightbulb, right? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Presenting a delicious mug cake, extracted and cut into cute bite sized cakes! This is the easiest recipe by far. Some may call it cheating, but I say baking anything on a work trip is a success. 👍🏻

- 6 TBSP Yellow Cake Mix
- 4 TBSP water
- Your fave store bought icing (we’re going for simplicity here, folks)

Whisk together your cake mix and water into a microwave safe mug, and cook for 1 1/2 minutes.

Allow cake to cool and top with your favorite icing and sprinkles!

Voila! Dessert on the go. 😉
