Ep 14: Raspberry Scones

Have you listened to episode 14 yet? This week Elise took us through the wacky and entertaining tale of the Mothman and how he terrorized/warned/maybe just wanted to be friends with the residents of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. It’s incredibly fun, and if you haven’t listened yet, now is your chance to cook up a tasty treat and tune in! This week we enjoyed easy bake oven scones, which are very cute and very very easy. These ones were topped with delicious raspberry jam from @narwhalfarm !

1 tbsp sour cream ⁣
1/8 tsp baking soda ⁣
1/3 cup all purpose flour ⁣
1 tbsp sugar ⁣
1/8 tsp baking powder ⁣
1/8 tsp salt ⁣
1 tbsp butter ⁣

Blend sour cream and baking soda in small bowl and set aside. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter. Stir in sour cream mixture until just moistened. Knead dough briefly and roll or pat into 1/2” thick round. Cut into wedges, place on baking sheet, and bake in your easy bake oven for 15 minutes! In a conventional oven, bake at 350 for about 10 minutes and keep a close eye! ⁣
