Mary Anne Alexie was last seen in the Spenard area of Anchorage, AK on Oct. 9, 2012. She was 32 years old.

Mary had traveled from her hometown of Fairbanks, AK to enroll in a college to become a medical assistant.

On Oct. 10, she called her friends in the early morning hours, telling them she was in Spenard. Mary had a drinking problem, and friends say she sounded drunk on the phone. She was lost and didn’t know where to go. She wasn’t heard from again.

Mary leaves behind four children. It was unlike her to be out of touch with loved ones, so her disappearance has been categorized as suspicious.

Mary is Native American. She has black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo pn her upper right arm. She may use the alias Mary Jane Alexie or the last name McNeil.
